Onta

Onta are 'supernatural beings'. Onta are not natural beings (individual living beings) but they are nevertheless more 'worldly' than pure divine beings such as the Prosopa.They are invisible in that you cannnot see them all at once with your human senses. Nevertheless you can see the results of their actions.

There are a large number of potential Onta, but Christian Mithraists have a particular interest in two: Superchrestor and Azidak. Superchrestor or Chrestomagtus is the 'Superchrist' or 'Mighty Christ'.

Azidak is the 'Anti-Christ'.
